2014 ESE Senior Design Award Winners

This year's Electrical and Systems Engineering Senior Design Demo Day was held on April 24th in the Detkin Lab and was followed by the inaugural Senior Design dinner and awards reception in the Glandt Forum of the Singh Center for Nanotechnology. The Department would like to congratulate this year's winners, and thank all of the judges who advised our students.

Norman Gross Award for Excellence in System Design
Team Members: Noam Eisen, Andrew Gagne, Richard Stutsman, Justin Yim
Project Title: Low-Cost Autonomous Landing of a Midsize Fixed-Wing UAV
Advisor Name: Bruce Kothmann
This team also won Second Prize at the all-SEAS Senior Design Competition.

Ketterer Award for Outstanding Creativity
Project Title: 3D Electromechanical Print Integration
Team Members: Tarik Bellamine, Jonathan Bryan, Kevin Burke, Joshua Reback, Amy Wu
Advisor Name: André DeHon
This team also won Third Honorable Mention at the all-SEAS Senior Design Competition.

Berger Award for Conceptual/Technical Innovation
Team Members: Carlie Badder, Vignesh Selvakumaran, Xinran Wang, Franklin Yang
Project Title: PulseTEAM: A Noninvasive Indicator of Cardiovascular Health

First Honorable Mention
