Houston Hall Market (at the Perelman Quadrangle), 3417 Spruce Street. The basement has various restaurants.
The Houston Market, located on the ground floor of the building, has become a Penn favorite. The food is freshly prepared to order, reasonably priced, and sure to satisfy a wide range of tastes. The service is quick and friendly. During the summer, the restaurants are open only during the weekdays.
Food court and 3401 Walnut Street
The food court has various restaurants: Famiglia Pizza, Quiznos, Taco Bell, Ice Cream and others.
There are also several restaurants along Walnut Street, close to 40th Street
Food Shopping
- Fresh Grocer: Walnut and 40th Street
- Wawa: Spruce and 38th street
- Reading Terminal (in Center City, 51 N. 12th Street; easy access with Trolley; get off at 13th street).
You can also take the blue line subway on Market and 34th eastbound and exit at 11 or 13th th St. There is LOTS of food here, including the Amish bakery which is half off around 2 or 3pm on Saturdays
