Bettis Summer Intern Program
Internship positions for undergraduates (completed sophomore 6ear) and graduate students majoring in engineering, science, or business are available at Bettis. Chinese University of Hong Kong
A research position in analog VLSI circuit design is available. Duties involve working on the design of low voltage, low power and very low frequency biomedical signal processing building blocks for ECk and finger pulse signal-photolethysmogram (PPG in short) in CMOS technology which will be used for vital sign measurement for mobile health (E-Health) and wearable devices. This involves system definition to transistor level design which includes schematic, simulation and layout level. Candidate can also work on the design prototype for wearable devices. Stone Ridge Technology
Stone Ridge Technology is an early-stage technology startup working in the High Performance Computing Industry Industry. The company is currently working on software applications in quantum chemistry, classical and quantum molecular dynamics, seismic processing, reservoir simulation, and computational finance. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer with FPGA design experience. Experience should include FPGA design and implementation with VHDL or Verilog for Xilinx or Altera devices. Place and route tool experience with ISE or Quartus is also required. A BS/MS EE with specialization in one or more of the following is desired: computer architectures; compilers and operating systems; computer systems (architecture, parallel processing); integrated circuits, VLSI design, testing and cad.
