Norman Gross Senior Project Award
The Norman Gross Senior Design Project Award in Systems Engineering has been created in honor and recognition of Norman Gross. The award is given annually by the faculty of the Department of Systems Engineering to the best senior design project that exemplifies Norman Gross's personal achievements and professional accomplishments.
Senior Design Demo Day Prizes in ESE: Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering , (Three prizes)
These prizes will be given to the "Best Senior Design Projects" as decided by the judges and the
faculty on the senior day. Consideration will be given to the quality of the poster, the clarity of its presentation
in addition to the technical complexity of the project.
First Prize : $1000.00 per person, $3000.00 per team
Second Prize : $ 1000.00 per team
Third Prize: $ 500.00 per team
Frederick Ketterer Memorial Award: ($300)
This prize is in the honor or Dr. Fred Ketterer. The Award is given annually to one or more seniors in the Electrical Engineering Department for outstanding technical achievement in Senior Design.
Harold Berger Award : ($150)
The Honorable Harold Berger Award is given to a student in the Department of Electrical Engineering whose senior design project best combines conceptual/technical innovation with entrepreneurial possibility.
