Nanotechnology Innovation

The Singh Center is a next-generation nanotechnology center that merges traditional approaches to nanoscale development with unique state-of-the-art equipment, materials and ideas.

With a focus on innovation, the Singh Center is a hub for scientists and researchers that integrates state-of-the-art nanofabrication and nanocharacterization equipment to define new frontiers in nanotechnology. The Center boasts expert and experienced faculty and staff who are committed to the success of its users and interested in new approaches to realizing and implementing nanotechnology applications.

General Robotics, Automation, Sensing & Perception Laboratory

The GRASP Lab operates as a hub for connecting our research with the venture capital that entrepreneurs provide. The GRASP team is devoted to advancing innovation in robotics that results in new products and services. The Lab builds partnerships with startups, and other collaborators that align with Penn’s initiatives in innovation, and create opportunities to further impact the societal advantages of robotics.

The third floor of the Pennovation Center is home to the Penn Engineering Research and Collaboration Hub (PERCH) which aims to bring together many different branches of engineering and applied science in a vibrant, collaborative research and development environment. Students, faculty, and staff from the School of Engineering and Applied Science will use this space designed to promote fundamental research and accelerate the lab‐to‐market technology transfer pipeline in robotics, internet of things and embedded systems.
